Nomex’s live shows are a collision of performance art, Bruitist production, sound art, noise and breakcore. Nomex is known for his bizarre turntablism and self built drill turntables. Currently residing in New Zealand, his live shows traverse audio collage of found/recorded sound, obscure avant garde to digital glitch trash.
Monica Brooks has been involved in the local improv scene for a number of years, working with on the Nownow, and performing solo, as well as with Ubercube and the Splinter Orchestra. Using the laptop primarily as a sampler and effects unit, expect the odd drone and AM radio signal
Emma Ramsay is currently exploring ideas of sound portraiture, and the mysticism of music and sound in storytelling and biography. Emma is one third of dance jam band Holy Balm, and a director of Quarterbred; a dynamic artist run initiative based in Sydney.
